Dadié Tayoraud

NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Prior to co-founding IIL, Dadié had been an active investor and advisor in agricultural SMEs and was a business development manager at Voodoo Group, a leading communications company in francophone West Africa. As a business development manager, he guided companies to achieve their growth and expansion goals. This includes defining and executing a US$1m regional rollout for a marketing and communications company spanning several West and Central African countries. Dadié serves on the board of several companies in multiple West African countries including Ghana, Mali, Niger and Côte d’Ivoire.

Dadié began his career as Assistant Financial Controller at Hotel Ivories Inter-Continental and was later a business development professional in New York for Henry Schein, a worldwide distributor of medical, dental products and services, and veterinary supplies.

He is passionate about agriculture and has personal investments in rice and cassava processing mills in rural Côte d’Ivoire.

He is a graduate of the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce d'Abidjan and holds an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
